History of CTI FoodTech in
peach processing, especially pitting, begins in
1985, when CTI, founded by
Eng. Biagio Crescenzo, already a builder of machines for
processing fruits and vegetables, starts a program of
export of Italian technology to Spain. CTI quickly
notices the low efficiency of the existing technologies
for peach pitting and in only 4 years becomes leader on
the Spanish market.
In 1996, CTI starts an
important and rewarding collaboration with ex FMC FoodTech
(now JBT FoodTech), the multinational leader in fruit
processing. Together CTI FoodTech Group and FMC FoodTech redesign
the FMC peach pitters. Thanks to the developing
abilities of its team of engineers, in a few years CTI
FoodTech transforms these machines into the modern
torque peach pitter CT800 Extended Aligner, capable of
pitting 80 peaches a minute, and in the other model
300-A with a knife driven pitting system.
In 2008, CTI FoodTech
officially purchases the "Peach Line" branch of FMC
FoodTech, along with the construction rights, the
patents and the drawings of the entire peach production
line, with the same productive quality.
In 2009-2010 CTI FoodTech
exports the CT800 peach pitter to the most important
peach production plants in the world, consolidates its
presence in Spain and becomes leader on the Chinese
market with the model 300-A. |
